Throwback - Where are they now?

Da Band - with a name like that you have to know you're doomed from the start -hint -hint "Day 26". Anyway lets take a stroll down memory lane and look at "Da Band". Preceded by O-Town and followed by Danity Kane and then Day 26 we are showing that reality tv is having its worthless effect on the world of music and no one is safe. From the video below we can see 5 different sounds / songs on one track - a cluster Fu@k of music and it seemed like no stylist was present with Babs Acid Wash Mom Jeans & go for broke hair do!

Sarah Stokes had the most talent & sex appeal of the group - but being married and having 3 kids is not my idea of sexy and is why she failed... along with her frequent refrigerator raids. She is still putting music out and it sounds pretty good but as with anything - its who you know and her window of opportunity has come and gone - but she still has some good stuff. We listened to the first track with T. Pain and the second "Free" and they are definitely re-playable - check out: Sarah Stokes MySpace

Babs - Her & Ness were labeled by Puff as the Bonnie & Clyde of Hip Hop - but after Jay-Z & Bey put out their song I guess these two have been hiding in the Honey Comb Hideout. Her flow is still good and a lot free'er then those terrible Bad Boy Hook Lyrics. So there is still hope and hey they got a recent job opening I saw on Craigslist for Terror Squads Remmy Ma's Job. Check her out here a listen to a few tracks: Babs Bunny MySpace

Elliot Ness - not much can be found on him - My guess is that he got off the tour bus when they made a burger stop and went to the bathroom and the bus kept rolling not missing him. We did find one link which then had a link to his website only to hit a dead end or dead website. Elliot Ness

Chopper AKA Young City - From the boys name the words lack of originality spew. Being there was already a rapper out there with the name he still tried to push it and the same is with his lyrics and sound. Music is supposed to grow and mature but here the only thing that grows from listening is the pain in my ears. With lyrics from his Bad Boys Days "We gonna get but bucked ball naked" what else can you expect. Chopper Young City Website

Fred - We found a clip of fred on youtube and he was spouting off about guns and blah blah blah and then he kicked some of his 90's style lyrics with a raspy voice sounding like he had a tick tack logged in the back of his throat. Fred On YouTube

Dylan - uuummmmm Booty! Dylan should have known his and the groups fate from the video when his only appearance the was 10 second cameo at the end when Puff yelled his name. He is still trying to push his style on us but his flow is more like that drip you hear coming from the bathroom sink at 2 A.M. - Annoying. Though we do thank Dylan for that one hell of a Chapelle Show Skit: Dylan MySpace

Here is an extra bone from the season - the Female Scarface as puffy called her - Mysterious Burke - You don't remember her rapping about hot dogs? Anyway here is her MySpace and a track with her and Jigga.
